1 Bedroom Cabin in Sooke

Welcome to Seascape by IRIS PROPERTIES!
Seascape is a beautiful oceanfront vacation property located just 10 minute walk from downtown Sooke with many bakeries, shops, and natural attractions. Sooke is the gateway to the rugged west coast with incredible beaches, hiking, surfing, and so much more in the area.
Please take special note that the property is comprised of 5 different rental units spread across the property. Some of the units share walls so please be courteous of your neighbours.
Communal areas of the property include the private dock, beach access (on low tide), and the front grassy area and deck overlooking the ocean. Each of the units also has it's own private sitting and outdoor areas. There is also a shared/communal laundry facility on site to be used between the hours of 9 AM-7PM.
We rent to family groups, couples, and visitors from around the globe. We do not cater to any party groups whatsoever. This is a tranquil and quiet area, and we like to rent to groups looking to enjoy the peaceful environment offered in beautiful Sooke.

This Studio suite is ideal for couples looking for a quiet place to unwind and relax. Walk the beautiful gardens and grounds as you make your way out on the property's 200 ft private boardwalk to take in the sights and sounds of the ocean. Walking distance to Sooke village and all the amenities you need to make your vacation at the Seascape Studio one to remember!

Summary: Very cozy with throws, lovely ocean furnishings. Well supplied with towels, amenities for BR, kitchen. Owner was quick to reply to questions, requests. Good communication. Upgraded suite when mechanical problem to shower occurred. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Summary: Beautiful location with stairs right down to the water. Definitely would book again. Loved kayaking to the spit and basin right from the dock.

Summary: Just one wee thing to take care of - the toilet roller is squished and dies not roll so I had to take the toilet roll off the roller. You should replace that roller - it is very frustrating. Cheers s

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in the little cabin... 🤗 Definitely got our steps in, walking down to the dock!!! Crabbing 🦀 was good, but the Sea Otters are little thieves! 😄

Summary: The property is a combination of rentals and we had the small studio cabin. It was sufficient for our purposes, but very small overall. The location, parking etc. is wonderful. It could use a little updating as the refrigerator is not functioning properly and froze everything even after adjusting it. As well, the tv cable connection cut out occasionally without apparent reason. The bathroom could use a better cleaning as there are some stains on the back of the door.

Summary: I enjoyed staying here. The bed was comfortable. Kitchen and bath amenities were provided as promised. It’s not a high-end establishment but that’s OK with me. My particular unit was quite near the road. in August the traffic noise is pretty heavy. Luckily there is a fan which I used to drown out the noise. The location is conveniently near many of the lovely beaches on the south side of the island, while not being too far away from the marina, stores and restaurants. I wish that I had stayed a bit longer and actually just enjoyed just being there on the site. The other guests were very quiet, and I felt like I had the whole place to myself. On my last day, I looked down towards the dock too see a sweet harbor seal swimming around under and through the Docs. I wished that I had had time to go down and commune. this would be a fantastic place to stay, especially if you’d like to do sea kayaking or SUPing.
